WarīÑkwi⁩ Flores

Nkwi Flores (kin), a citizen of Apya Yala/Americas and title holder of relational-hood to the Kara and Kichwa Nations, Kutakachi Pueblo, Chichup'mp' Ayu-Yakta, deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of the Andean and Amazonian bioregions.

As the founder and PI of the Indigenous-led R&D Think Tank (Kinray Hub), he spearheads the design of Indigenous nature finance, nature capital (Indigenous Economy Models), biokulture technology, and biokulture MRV. As a consultant of the kollaboratory, Nkwi is a natural translator (kultural lawyer) bringing together across the semipermeable transboundary membrane praxis and evidence-based expertise as a scientist, Earth Trusteeship of the Chichup'mp' Clan, and PhD Candidate (University of Arizona). They inform their pursuit of social-ecological futures, R&D, and community-organizing work with relational approaches to ecological challenges/questions/jurisprudence/design space.
