Our Sacred Text
“Matriculture DNA and GrandMothering Economy” [link to be added] by Skeena Rathor Kashmiri, Elder Guardian, is our sacred text. It carries the original cosmology and coherence from which our movement was born. It traces humanity’s journey from our matricultural roots—where life was organized through care, reciprocity, and unconditional love—into the separation and trauma of domination systems that severed our kinship with Earth.
The text offers a map for returning to relational balance through the GrandMothering Paradigm, where governance and economy are expressions of love, not control. It describes the GrandMothering Economy as the living system that restores the original gift of life through rematriation, healing, and collective coherence.
This work is both a remembrance and a prophecy—a guide for how the Indigenous Commons and our KinHubs can walk together in building a world governed by love, reciprocity, and the laws of life.
Wealth is the accumulation of relationships between the beings touched by the flow of the SSTREAM.
The STREAM, Replenishing the Evolved Nest
The STREAM was birthed within Indigenous Commons through years of sharing and story by Indigenous leaders, Elders, and Guardians who carry living memory of life’s organizing principles.
At its heart, the STREAM repairs what evolutionary scientists call the Evolved Nest—the relational, emotional, and ecological web that once nurtured humanity into wholeness. Across all backgrounds, cultures, and faiths, human flourishing has always depended on this same nest of belonging, reciprocity, and shared responsibility.
STREAM is a framework we offer to repair these relationships and protocols for value creation.
Sacred Space - through ceremony or spiritual practice we revitalize ways of healing, relating, dreaming and knowing in the collective
Time - we look beyond quick fixes to see what is important now and over longer time horizons
Respect - we strengthen relationship with the human and more than human world, repairing connections
Energy - an indescribable force - folk soul- emerges from the collective, unleashing potential
Attention - intentions align so we can clearly see our roles without a boss
Material - lastly, we identify the money, technology, tools, and talent needed to keep the STREAM moving
